People who sleep more or less than seven hours a day, including naps, can increase the risk of cardiovascular disease, the leading cause of death in the U.S. and also in Indonesia today. Research conducted at the Faculty of Medicine at West Virginia have found that sleeping less than five hours a day have a risk of suffering from angina, coronary heart disease, heart attack or stroke, two-fold.
But make no mistake. Excessive over seven hours of sleep a day also brings the same risks for heart health.
